This is a crucifix made of resin and or crushed fish bone / shell. Items such as this were sold in Mexican souvenir shops for decades and used to be made of crushed fish bone and shell mixed into a paste the formed into a mold. This Christ on the Cross is from 2002 so I’m assuming it’s resin but not sure. Was not able to find anything like it on internet so can’t say for sure. Unique and very beautiful. L-10”. W- 7”. From Matamoros Tamaulipas.
